A working hill farm with attached self-catering cottages

COTEFIELD FARM is a working hill farm with hill sheep, calves and beef cattle. Visitors are welcome to look around the farm. We are situated approximately 10 minutes walk from Edale Village where there is a post office and general store, a cafe and two pubs.

Edale railway station is about 1 mile. Castleton and it's caverns are a short drive (or a stroll over the hill) and the pretty Peak District villages of Hathersage, Tideswell, Bakewell and Eyam are all under 20 minutes away.

Our two cottages are carpeted throughout and are well equipped with electric cooker, microwave, fridge with ice making compartment, ironing facilities, colour TV and video. Use of washing machine and deep freeze space available on request at the farmhouse. Sorry no pets.

HATHAWAY COTTAGE - 3 stars (Self-catering)
This is a single storey cottage adjoining our farm house, but it is fully self contained. It is built in natural stone and is fully double glazed. The cottage is in a peaceful setting and enjoys a southerly aspect with unspoilt views of the surrounding hills and valley. There is a lawn and small garden at the front.

Sleeps: - 2/4
Bedroom: - One bedroom with a double bed plus full size bunk beds. All beds have duvets. Blankets are also available.
Bathroom: Bath with instantaneous shower above, washbasin, W.C. and shaver point.
Kitchen / lounge: - Modern pine kitchen, dining area and comfortable lounge with open fire and french windows which lead to the front garden (with garden furniture.)

Heating / Central Heating: - Heating is from an open fire which heats some hot water. Thermostatically controlled heaters in the bedroom, lounge and bathroom. Also a heated towel rail in the bathroom. All the fuel is provided for the open fire.

The price includes: bed linen, towels, dishcloths, teatowels, washing up liquid, tablecloths and toilet rolls. The only extra is the electricity for the lights, cooker, shaver, electric heaters and immersion heater which is by meter reading. October - Easter: - first £10 electric included in price for weekly lets.

Price: £200 - £280 per week. Short breaks available out of season.

HEATH COTTAGE - 3 stars (self-catering)
This is again a single storey cottage and is a recent barn conversion. It is built in natural stone and is fully double glazed. Again this cottage enjoys a southerly aspect with unspoilt views. This cottage has beamed ceilings throughout. It has a small garden with a patio to the front.

Sleeps: - 2
Bedroom: - One bedroom with double bed plus duvet. Blankets are also available.
Shower room: -Instantaneous shower, washbasin W.C. and shaver point.
Kitchen / lounge: - Oak kitchen with dining area and cosy lounge. Patio door leads from the lounge down into the patio garden.(with garden furniture).
Heating/Central Heating: - Thermostatically controlled heaters in lounge and bedroom. Heated towel rail and electric wall heater in shower room.
